The first day of the Business Climate Resilience Project – Private Sector Training held online on 17 December 2021 and 28 January 2022 addressed the business continuity, risk mitigation, and management experiences related to the climate crisis and its impacts as well as the experiences of the relevant actors, through examples from Türkiye and the world. In session two of the training, in which the anticipated impacts of the Paris Agreement and the European Green Deal were discussed, Diren Ertekin from UNDP Türkiye Country Office provided information about their Climate Adaptation Monitoring Works. As part of the assessments regarding National Actors and Actions, Betül Kurada from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) Planning and Mitigation Department referred to the relationship between Critical Infrastructures, Business Continuity and Climate Change.
